What Is The Best Way To Stretch?

Research into muscle stretching has shown that PNF stretches are the most effective. PNF stretches, which use a rebound relaxation, improve the flexibility and strength of a muscle.

Best of all, however, PNF stretches only take a few seconds to perform. Simply stretch the muscle until you feel a pulling sensation, then contract/tense the muscle as if you were going to use it. Hold the contraction for six seconds, relax and breathe in and out, then repeat.

If you want to relieve your back pain, a PNF stretch is the most effective. Just target the muscles that are tight and perform a PNF stretch.
