This is probably the question that people want at the top of the FAQ's. It is after all the most commonly asked and anticipated.
Everyone is different, some will respond within minutes of using the Symptom Relief exercises we give you... others may take longer. Depending on how long you have suffered you may have to wait a week or two to see changes, but we expect change to occur quickly.
If not, then please email me. There are many techniques inside the X-Pain Method and most you will never use. They are there to give those who struggle to respond other ways to get relief.
There is no perfect order, although we do give you an outline to follow. Knowing when to stretch is vital, as certain times in the day will give you greater relief and relax muscles faster. We don't leave you alone, again if you are confused as to which techniques to use and when, and you can't find the answer in the schedule, then simply email me and I'll personally guide you through what to do.
For most people the entire routine will take less than 30 minutes. This does not mean 30 minutes each day for months, but for the next 2 weeks. As you progress you will be doing less and less.
If you find you are doing more than this then you are using techniques that are not necessary, follow the schedule and you should spend less than 30 minutes each day.
The stretching techniques will take about 5-10 minutes at most, realigning the spine 5 minutes and the symptom relief and Acupressure no more than 15 minutes ... for most this is a maximum.
This is a common fear as most self help techniques for back pain rely heavily on stretching and exercising. Hence you will need to keep using these each day to maintain a pain free state.
As the X-Pain Method gets to the root cause and trains your body to stay pain free, you will not need to exercise for more than a few months and not every day in that time frame either.
Long term, you will need to reassess the imbalances and if all is good, there is nothing to do. We do teach you some simple Acupressure techniques to help maintain your spine and continually build resistance, but these take a few minutes to do each week.
Once the pain has gone you can do what you like. There are no restrictions!
I play sport, enjoy the life with my family and friends and do what I please. I do not live in fear of pain returning and the only time I get back pain is when I overdo things. But it self corrects like a cut hand heals.

At present there is no hard copy version. We do this to keep the costs a slow as possible. Making a hard copy and DVD version could almost double the price. All the manuals are downloadable and able to be printed off, as are the videos.

This is actually a common question and an easy one to answer.

These concepts are not new, but for many practitioners and internet sites offering help, they are. One of the most common confusions is that you may have been told that it is muscle imbalances that cause all your pain.
Yet there are others that are told by Chiropractors for example, that it is all joint related.
It does get confusing. The way I suggest you look at your pain is this. You have muscles and joints, you have bodily systems that affect both, and there are energy systems (meridians) that play a part and even various mind/body relationships that may attribute to your pain.
If using a single modality was the perfect option, then you would know about it. The back pain statistics are terrible, long term relief rates are very low. Why?

It is very unusual to feel discomfort with our techniques. For some with complex issues, there may be some changes in your muscles and joints that may shift the location of your pain. This is usually minor and temporary.
All our techniques are performed gently, so there is no pain at all.
If you find you are getting discomfort then please contact me, you may have assessed which imbalances you have incorrectly and hence are irritating your condition. But don't worry you cannot make things worse, and it is simply fixed.
There is a simple rule ... if it doesn't cause pain then do it.
Exercise is good for you as long as it doesn't cause pain. It is best in the early stages to take exercise easier than you would normally to make sure your back is okay. But you can do anything you wish to do.
Balanced activities are still best initially such as walking, swimming, jogging, cycling.
And if pain starts to occur while you exercise, stop. Pain after exercise usually relates to a bit of muscle soreness that s nothing to be concerned about. Next time this will usually disappear as your body becomes stronger and stronger.

But then you may have falls, overdo exercise or lift objects that are too heavy. You may still have minimal niggles as a result, but these will self correct if you maintain a healthy spine. If they don't then you can simply reapply the techniques and ease your pain.
For some pain relief happens first, and others you will see postural changes before pain eases. Either way you will get relief as long as you follow the system.
Pain should never be the only signal you rely on to see if you are in balance or not. The postural analysis via your photos is an easy way to see changes, and are best to use long term to make sure you stay in balance.
